What is the Glennan Lecture?
Since 2015, the Brock Institute and Glennan Center have partnered to host the Annual Lecture Series, founded through the vision of Dr. Bob Palmer and Dr. Marissa Galicia-Castillo.鈥� These lectures bring world-renowned experts in geriatric and palliative medicine to share insights with students, faculty, clinicians, and community leaders across Eastern Virginia.鈥�

This year we are welcoming EVMS Class of 2006 Alumni Dr. Lee Jennings, Division Director, Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, Professor, Department of Medicine at The University of Oklahoma Health Campus.鈥�

Objectives:
Describe four recent advances in dementia care, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and collaborative care models.
Discuss ongoing gaps in evidence in dementia care delivery and future research directions.
