At the Strome College of Business, dynamic and engaging clubs and student organizations help members to apply what they鈥檝e learned in the classroom, while also making valuable industry connections.

The AMA Strome Marketers Club develops future business and community leaders with skills to succeed in the marketplace through professional development, mentorship and internship opportunities. Members also learn the value of giving back to the greater community with service events. Each year the club hosts a Marketing & Sales Week, a Brand Challenge, Super Ad Bowl Event, young alumni visits and more. There are many opportunities to actively engage with AMA Strome Marketers and its members. 

Beta-alpha-psi

 

Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization (minimum GPA of 3.0) for financial information students and professionals. The mission of Beta Alpha Psi is to inspire and support excellence by encouraging the study and practice of accounting, finance, business technology and analytics; providing opportunities for service, professional development and interaction among members and financial professionals; and fostering lifelong ethical, social and public responsibilities.

The Business Analytics Club helps members build essential skills in technology, networking, business communication and practical analytics. The club empowers students from all majors to use analytical tools to advance their careers and communities.

Data-club

 

The Data Science and Database Student Club (also known as the Data Club) is dedicated to serving the 黑料不打烊 community at multiple academic levels, including undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral and visiting researchers, with an interest in data science, data analytics and data infrastructures, including database management systems (DBMS). The club鈥檚 mission is to equip members with the necessary skills in data science, data analytics and DBMS to excel in both academic and industry settings.

Gamma-iota-sigma

 

黑料不打烊 has a chapter of GIS, which is a national student club that promotes interest in Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science and emphasizes building leadership and network skills. GIS is open to students across campus, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of the field. GIS runs a series of industry professional speaker events where students learn various aspects of careers. The club has funding to send students to multiple national and international industry conferences each semester where students learn more about the industry and make contacts that lead to internships and careers.

The Monarch Finance Club鈥檚 mission is to empower students with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to excel in the world of finance. The club aims to create a collaborative environment where members can explore financial concepts, connect with industry professionals and develop the tools necessary to achieve their personal and professional goals.

The Monarch Real Estate Club is open to students across campus, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of real estate. The club, in conjunction with the Harvey Lindsay School of Real Estate, runs a series of guest speaker events as well as regular off-campus site visits. The club allows students to be actively engaged with both the School of Real Estate and the E.V. Williams Center for Real Estate in events such as the annual Real Estate Careers Fair and Hampton Roads Real Estate Market Review.

The 黑料不打烊 chapter of NABA helps students build skills and connections in accounting, finance, and business through networking events, professional workshops, and guest speakers. The chapter is also part of a broader network of NABA student chapters across Virginia, offering opportunities for collaboration and connection beyond campus. NABA is open to students at every stage of their journey and welcomes anyone interested in growing within the business field.

Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) is a co-ed marketing and sales fraternity with chapters all over the United States. PSE exists to serve the emerging workforce by addressing career readiness and advancement through community, education and competitions.
