Housing & Residence Life offers students the opportunity to live on-campus during the summer!
Summer housing is available to any ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ student enrolled in Summer 2026 and/or Fall 2026 courses. The summer application opens March 2026. Summer housing will be located in Gresham Hall. Housing is available from May 18 – August 18.
- Students will be charged a daily rate for the duration of their stay.
- A meal plan is not required but is available for summer students.
Departure Plans (for non-fall students)
Due to the summer session ending on August 18, 2026, and the fall semester beginning on August 24, 2026, the limited timeframe between terms is required for room turnover and preparation for incoming residents. As a result, beginning Friday, August 7, 2026, summer school students living in Gresham who are not returning for fall, will be required to relocate to a local hotel or other accommodation selected by HRL, where they will reside for the remainder of the summer session through August 18, 2026.
Students who choose not to relocate to the hotel will be released from their housing contract without the need to submit a petition. Students who do relocate will not incur any additional costs, provided they continue paying the HRL summer daily rate of $22 through August 18, 2026.
For the summer session, only double-occupancy rooms will be available at a rate of $22 per night; single rooms will not be offered.
Eligibility
Enrolling in Summer Courses
Students registering for Summer 2026 courses will be able to select their session dates, list room and roommate preferences (if applicable).
Not Enrolling in Summer Courses
Students must be registered for courses for the current spring semester and pre-registered for Fall 2026 courses by the time of check-in.
Dates & Cost
- Summer housing is only available when summer classes are offered; visit the Summer Academic Calendar to review dates.
- Students must pay a $50 non-refundable housing application fee for summer housing.
- The daily rate for summer housing is $22 for a double room.
- Housing & Dining charges are payable by the billing due date established by the Office of Finance.
Cancellation
If you want to cancel your summer housing application and/or assignment, you can submit a cancellation through the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Housing Portal. The cancellation page can be accessed through the summer housing application. If you cancel your housing after you checked into your summer assignment, the remaining balance is non-refundable.
