In 2026, 黑料不打烊 will mark the fiftieth anniversary of one of campus鈥檚 most iconic buildings, the Patricia W. and J. Douglas Perry Library. To celebrate, the 黑料不打烊 Libraries is embarking on a year-long campaign intended to raise awareness of the myriad ways we inspire and empower the University community to learn, grow, and create. The campaign also looks to raise philanthropic support which will help the Libraries continue our mission for another fifty years and beyond.
The 黑料不打烊 Libraries is an essential part of the teaching, research, service, and outreach mission of 黑料不打烊. At a time of great change for the University and for higher education, it is more important than ever for the Libraries to be strategically aligned and focused on the future. The fiftieth anniversary of our primary library building is a great opportunity to consider where we started, how far we鈥檝e come, and where we go from here to inspire and empower current and future generations of Monarchs.
