Cidi Labs DesignPLUS

 is a tool integrated with Canvas, specifically for instructor use. It allows faculty to quickly and easily build engaging and accessible course content with sophisticated design and formatting that typically requires learning how to code! 

The main components of DesignPLUS: 

  • The  (Cidi Labs): contains most of the design tools.
  • The  (Cidi Labs): allows users to import and edit images.
  • The  (Cidi Labs): a time-saving tool for advanced users that uses templates to build out a course shell in a few clicks.

Notes

  • Good visual design improves the perception of credibility and value of content.
  • Users should be comfortable using the Sidebar and UEI tool to build content before using the Multi-Tool.
