ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ offers an Education Specialist degree in educational leadership with a concentration in administration and supervision with licensure. This degree is primarily designed to prepare individuals who hold a master's degree in an area of education (aside from educational leadership) and do not have a license in administration supervision PreK-12. Your course work provides conceptual and theoretical knowledge, as well as practical field experience. The program leads to full Commonwealth of Virginia Licensure in Educational Administration and Supervision, Pre-K-12. Education Administrators, Elementary and Secondary School

Teach courses pertaining to education, such as counseling, curriculum, guidance, instruction, teacher education, and teaching English as a second language. Includes both teachers primarily engaged in teaching and those who do a combination of teaching and research.
Requirements
- Meet all University admissions requirements.
- Have an undergraduate grade point average of 2.80 overall and 3.00 in the major.
- Hold a valid teaching license and currently serve in a PK-12 academic position.
- Provide a resume.
*This degree can lead to the addition of an endorsement in administration and supervision by the Virginia Department of Education for students who hold a valid Virginia teaching license and have three years of successful teaching experience.

Virginia Licensure
** You do not need three years of educational experience to apply to this program. However, to be eligible for an Administration and Supervision preK-12 license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, you must have completed three years of successful, full-time experiences in a public or accredited nonpublic school in an instructional personnel position with licensure as a teacher or school counselor. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's MSEd concentration in educational administration and supervision is approved by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
