Weather Update

Due to inclement weather—including rain and the possibility of thunderstorms—forecasted for Friday, May 9, 2025, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ will modify plans for the Advanced Degree Commencement Ceremony scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM tomorrow. The academic processional from Webb University Center has been canceled.

Friday's Commencement Exercises will still take place at Chartway Arena. However, to minimize outdoor exposure for students, faculty, and staff, graduates will now assemble in Chartway Arena rather than the Webb University Center. Students will robe in the Big Blue Room, and faculty members will robe in the East Lobby of the Arena.

Graduates should park in the Constant Center 43rd Street Garage and enter Chartway Arena through the Starbucks entrance. Please follow all posted directional signs.

Attendees and participants are permitted to carry umbrellas into the arena. For your convenience, umbrella bags will be provided upon entry.

As originally planned, Commencement guests and family members should report directly to Chartway Arena.

The Main Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 10, 2025 will take place in S.B. Ballard Stadium as planned with breakout college and school ceremonies immediately following.
