University Chaplains Association

The University Chaplains Association’s (UCA) mission is to promote multi-faith understanding, to enhance spiritual consciousness, and to provide accountability and support of campus chaplains. Dean of Students

If a student is experiencing roadblocks that impact their personal or academic success, contact the Dean of Students office (DOS). As student advocates DOS provides student with mitigation, problem resolution, and referral services. Students experiencing housing insecurity may also connect with the DOS team for support resources. Contact DOS at 757-683-3442 to schedule an appointment.

If a student is showing aggressive behavior to you or another student, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ PD can act as your first contact to diffuse a situation and prevent it from escalating.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Police Department headquarters is located at 4516 Monarch Way, Norfolk, VA 23508.

Patrol aides are on duty 24/7 and do campus walk throughs.

Student Health Services

If a student has an illness, injury, or needs urgent medical attention, refer them to Student Health Services (SHS) on campus clinic for an appointment. We encourage students to wear masks and/or stay home for minor flu-like illnesses, stomach flu, and fevers to help prevent rapid spread of illness. Students needing urgent care should call SHS for an appt. so clinic staff can assess/prioritize the urgency of medical need for same day care and/or give medical advice.
